Forbidden Planet sees the light (or at least the link)
No sooner do I post a new RUR, complete with RANT about Forbidden Planet's lack of links for its 'podcast', than they actually put it right -- or nearly so. I can't seriously believe they've responded to my barely concealed invective in the short time since RUR #25 went live, but whatever prompted them to do it, I'm glad they did. The media player on the site now works with my MacBook, and there's a separate link to download the mp3. Only one though. There's no RSS feed yet -- but here's hoping...

Not podfading!
I had hoped to post a new RUR this weekend, but it's not going to happen. It's now Sunday evening (a very hot and humid Sunday evening here in Portsmouth) and I've still a fair bit of other stuff to do before the weekend is over. I spent a good part of today editing the audio for the next RUR fiction serial -- a story called "The Trivium", which will be serialized over the next five editions of The Rev Up Review.
I'm preparing plenty of content for upcoming shows, including a review of all the stories in the latest Interzone (204), as well as focusing on some new SF-related podcasts. And there'll be the usual rants (no shortage of those, it seems).
Also (not directly related to RUR) there is the podcast novel, the initial chapters of which I'm now recording and editing, so expect some fairly shameless pimping of The Plitone Revisionist, available soon.
Definitely not podfading -- thanks for your patience!
